A Message to Our Owners
The Administrative Council is embarking on a significant transition in managing The Colonial to align with modern governance practices and Jalisco condominium regulations.
Since the building’s inception, Condominio Colonial A.C., a civil association originally controlled by the developer, has technically served as our Administrator. In practice, operational management has been largely handled by the Council and our building manager, Alejandra.
At the upcoming General Assembly, the Council will propose dissolving our agreement with Condominio Colonial A.C. and adopting a more direct administrative structure. Under this new model, the Condominium Administrator will be directly contracted by the Administrative Council.
Invitation for Proposals
Alejandra is being considered for the role of Administrator, reflecting her consistent dedication and outstanding contributions to The Colonial. To ensure transparency and a comprehensive evaluation, we are conducting a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
Key RFP Dates
- December 4, 2024: Deadline for applicants to submit intent to apply
- December 9–13, 2024: Property walkthroughs for applicants.
- December 20, 2024: Deadline for proposal submissions.
- January 6–10, 2025: Candidate interviews.
- January 17, 2025: Final candidate selection.
- January 25, 2025: Assembly vote.
