Contract Position: Colonial Condominium Building Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Management
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure property is well-maintained.
  • Respond to emergencies and be on-call 24/7.
  • Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high standards.
  • Board and Condominium Meetings
  • Attend, facilitate, and prepare for all Board and condominium meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Council Board and assist with decision implementation.
  • Employee Management
  • Manage, supervise, and train employees, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and evaluate employee performance.
  • Communication
  • Serve as primary point of contact for owners, guests, and service providers.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates and newsletters.
  • Address inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Annual Assemblies
  • Coordinate and execute necessary procedures for Annual Assemblies.
  • Prepare meeting materials and annual property management reports.
  • Financial Management
  • Develop and manage budgets in collaboration with the Council Board.
  • Approve payments for services and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with the property's accountant and auditor to ensure compliance.
  • Additional Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Participate in property improvement projects and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Council Board.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • At least five years of experience in property management, preferably in a condominium setting
  • Knowledge of Article 1011 of the Jalisco Civil Code Book 6, condominium bylaws, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and property management software
